Once you have an online account with CCL, you will be able to submit an online application for your child care home operation. On the page where you create your account , select "No," for the question "Do you have a permit number?", and complete the online account registration form. Once you have successfully submitted your registration request, you will receive an email containing a link that you must click on in order to complete account activation. Use the See Your State's Resources feature on the website to find the licensing agency and a provider inspection reports for your state.
You may be required to add "Michigan.gov" to your compatibility view settings for the application to be submitted successfully. Be proud of the quality child care you are providing to your community. Print a list of questions and things to look for that you can take with you when visiting a potential child care program. After you home demonstrates compliance with minimum standards, Licensing staff will issue you an initial or full permit. You will receive an information packet during your pre-application class.
